Tenant Engagement

Build a Building Community People Actually Look Forward To

When bees arrive at a building something shifts. People stop in hallways to talk. Event attendance climbs. Tenants start calling the hive theirs. Praderama's nature-based programming turns your property into a place occupants genuinely connect with and genuinely want to return to.

Six Ways to Build a Stronger Tenant Community

Every element of Praderama's engagement program works together to create recurring touchpoints between your tenants and their building.

Beekeeper-Led Events

Nine distinct one-hour event formats led by professional beekeepers, from an introduction to urban beekeeping through to hands-on honey bottling. Every event is tailored to your tenant community and works for any group size or setting.

Honey Bee Hive

A living amenity that gives people something to gather around, talk about, and come back to. The sense of ownership and belonging your tenants develop with their building's hive is something no standard amenity can replicate.

Wild Bee Homes

Designed for high-traffic areas and safe to interact with up close, wild bee habitats turn any corridor, courtyard, or terrace into a genuine nature experience. Tenants can observe the bees building their nests through the observation drawers.

Tenant Engagement Platform

Our digital platform keeps your community connected between events. Tenants follow their beekeeper's seasonal updates, track hive activity, and book upcoming visits from any device at any time.

Impact and Engagement Report

Measure the real reach of your program with quantifiable participation data, satisfaction scores, and environmental metrics. These figures slot directly into your ESG report to show stakeholders the depth of your community commitment.

Branded Honey

Custom-labeled honey harvested from your own hive. There is no more memorable tenant appreciation gift and no better conversation piece during broker tours and leasing presentations.

How One Asset Manager Made the Hive the Most Talked-About Feature in the Building

Commercial Real Estate

"Tenant experience has skyrocketed since the bees arrived. Who knew our occupants would become so passionate about their hive?"

A major North American asset management firm introduced a bee program as a central element of their tenant experience strategy. Within the first season the hive had become the most discussed feature in the building, driving record attendance at community events and producing measurable improvements across tenant satisfaction scores. The program has since become the anchor of the property's annual wellness and community calendar and a recurring topic in every lease renewal conversation.

Your Questions About Tenant Engagement, Answered

The questions property managers most often ask before launching a nature-based engagement program at their building.

Nine distinct one-hour event formats are available, ranging from an introduction to beekeeping through to hands-on honey extraction. Each is led by a professional beekeeper and adapted to your audience. They work for corporate offices, residential communities, retail environments, schools, and beyond. Events can be scheduled around your leasing calendar, wellness initiatives, or ESG programming.
Not at all. Every program includes structured events and workshops that build a strong connection between occupants and the bees regardless of hive location. Tenants can also stay engaged year-round through our digital platform, following seasonal updates and booking upcoming visits. When the hive is physically accessible, tenants are welcome to observe inspections in person.
Yes. Praderama works with honey bee varieties selected specifically for their docility. Honey bees are calm insects that sting only when they feel directly threatened, which essentially never happens in a well-managed program. Wild bee habitats are even more approachable since wild bee species are naturally non-territorial and entirely safe to observe at close range. We actively encourage tenants to interact with the wild bee homes.
Once a site assessment confirms placement, installation is typically completed within a few weeks. Your beekeeper is then assigned and tenant programming begins immediately. Most buildings hold their first event within the first month and see measurable engagement metrics within the first season.
